Papa & Grammy Camp
Our summer began with a special week with our grandchildren. It was such fun and our home was filled with lots of laughter and activity. Paul (aka Papa) wore a handsome black cowboy hat to set the mood for our week of Papa & Grammy Camp. Our theme was the Wild West. We turned our home into a small western town. The Sherriff's office was the center of our Bible Story time and playtime. The boys especially enjoyed having to go to jail.

Celebrate Life - First Year Anniversary
On January 20th, Mandie celebrated her one year anniversary for her liver transplant. We celebrated with our family. The house was cheerful, we had balloons and a banner that hung in full view. We are rejoicing that Mandie has recovered so well and has not had any signs of rejection. We praise God for being so good and faithful!

The very first Gooseberry Patch cookbook I bought was "Welcome Home For the Holidays:. I found it in a cute country store on one of our fall vacations. I have used many of the creative ideas for my home found in the pages of this little book. Some of the recipes have become our family favorites. The Williamsburg Turkey Soup is a must during the fall and winter season.
